Alonissos is the perfect setting for a really quiet vacation. It is the most remote island of the Northern Sporades. Alonissos is a paradise with beautiful beaches and dense plantation. Agios Dimitrios: A beach that has charming turquoise waters and fine sea pebbles. It is perhaps the most famous beach of Alonissos thanks to its unique exotic beauty.
When visiting Alonissos someone should not forget to obtain images from the island of Kyra Panagia or Pelagonisi. It is identified with Ancient Alonissos with homonymous monastery of the 12th century.
